How can biodiversity loss and related issues be effectively communicated to different target groups? Which actors in Switzerland have a particularly strong influence on biodiversity and what factors drive the decisions of these individuals/institutions?
Biodiversity is a cross-cutting issue with numerous stakeholders from different sectors and organizational levels. In addition to nature conservation, it is also increasingly present in areas such as agriculture, construction, property management, tourism, and road maintenance. We are particularly interested in which key actors have a significant influence on biodiversity in Switzerland and how communication with and among them works most effectively. How can these stakeholders be reached in a more targeted way? What proven methods and advice from practice and research exist to improve biodiversity communication and adapt it to these diverse target groups?
The working group is expected to start in mid-August 2024 and expects first results by February 2025.
